Hello Hiveworld! This is Era, yes Era, which literally means a very long span of geologic time. And please call me Era because I have no other names aside from that.
With that being said, it would take a long span of geologic time to get to know every little detail about me. But I believe that now is the best time for me to share to the world a meager portion of me and all of the things that truly define my existence. I would like to introduce myself again. I am Era, a 22-year old college senior from Cebu, Philippines, a woman who is trying to find her way through this labyrinth, that is life.
I am a Virgo and was born in the city of Cebu, located in the southern portion of the Philippines. I am currently a pre-medical student specifically an Occupational Therapy intern (will share to you guys more about my college course in the next blog posts) and I enjoy doing Yoga and working out during my spare time. I am an only child but fortunately I have 3 loving dogs whom I consider as siblings so life is apparently not so lonely at all.
Why @lifewithera?
I have quite a short name and there really isn’t much I can do about it because apparently, I was born this way. It’s quite a challenge to play around with my name to come up with a creative username. Upon thinking of a username, I realized that I wanted a username that people would easily remember so that I may be able to connect with them. I personally chose this username because I want to share to others a glimpse of my life.
How I found Hive?
My dearest friend who I am eternally grateful for, @asasiklause, introduced me to the Hive while we were taking our dogs out for an afternoon walk. Apparently, he also introduced me to one of my favorite hobbies ever which is Yoga! Also, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to @explorewithsasha for inviting me to the Hive Community.
What am I hoping to get out from Hive?
Through Hive, I am hoping to be able to connect to other people through all walks of life. Because of the pandemic, I have been feeling isolated and I feel like I am unable to catch up with the changes in this fast-paced world and I hope that I am able to catch up with what I have missed out by hearing stories of others who are living their own lives as well.
