I am a computer scientist at NASA (AI, Robotics) -- Dancer and Singer (Tango and Jazz) and interested in better understanding cryptocurrencies and "startup societies". Interestingly I started my academic career working on self-organizing systems in the context of the origin of life (that's how I ended up at NASA) . I am finding interesting connections between that work and self-organization in the context of economics and society.
I've been living the the US, and the San Francisco Bay Area most of my life, but I maintain strong ties with my native Italy and Milan, where I was born and grew up. Besides science and art I am drawn to community building and experimenting in open, 
self-directed and consensual ways of relating.
I hope to use steemit to learn about the cryptocurrency economy, contribute ideas and get to know interesting people.
