a few weeks back I saw this super neat mega RV, last night I was tired and dabbling around with a now free piece of software for IOS called enlight (definitely something you should get) which allows you to do some neat merging of images and is so powerful, especially for free.
I’ll certainly be using this more for my posts here on steemit. I realised last night doing these rough edits thou how much I missed my iPad mini — it’s got a smashed screen, dodgy battery (ipad2) and is over six years old now, I’m looking to get it fixed so that my daughter can have it but I want to replace it before I love that form factor — the new iPad Pro mini looks perfect for what I want.
I want to do the following things. .
- install Cinemagraph software for editing and shooting
- install enlight to have faster processing power so it’s quicker to do
- get a wireless keyboard from logitech so I have a backup blogging setup
- I miss making cinemagraphs so bad that it’s gotta happen
- get an Apple Pencil and maybe learn some techniques
Having a laptop and desktop is great but sometimes you just really wanna travel light, especially if you are having a media making day, the less you have to carry the better, if I can take out a camera, big lens and then just a small iPad Pro unit to edit in the coffee shop throughout our day it means less of an ‘edit’ later on in the day and more chance that I’ll get it out and done same day — otherwise we just end up with stuff everywhere.

I know these two edits are pretty rough but I’m excited for on the road to be using this app, imagine, grabbing a high quality GH5 shot with some nice BOKEH, turning it into a Cinemagraph but also being able to mash up some of those shots into static shots with enlight will be sick.
I feel like the next few months alone will be great for me and @dayleeo as we get into a new transition phase, it’s going to need a lot of thought and focus as we make the next jump but I think we are in a much better place than we were a year ago, it’s all heading in the right direction.
