I'm honestly looking forward to a year of peace in 2019, a halt to mass killings, genocidal acts of terror in the world, and the subjugation of the poor to engorge the rich. However, I was recently informed as to the USA's desire to seek a solution on Iran! Given the government shutdown in the capital, this supposed stalemate over who will win the six billion dollar contract to build a wall, is merely show money for the masses. Behind this thin vale of TV realo-drama, two monumental things are happening. Firstly, the establishment is busy plotting away, attempting to ascertain where their next meal is coming from; but most importantly, the peoples of America are becoming aware that they don't actually need a central governing body!
A month has nearly passed and no major issues have arisen. No foreign entity has attempted to invade their shores, the stock market is ticking along nicely and the vast arm of government workers are on (what has been defined as) paid leave.
..like the peaceful calm, before a raging storm:
Throughout this perpetual era of war, scarcity, indifference and strife; people are becoming more and more aware that this current model of the human existence is not sustainable. Not only in an effort to exist as a species, but to also have the slightest chance of evolving pass our material bonds – things must, and will change.
Personally, I see a movement towards a decentralized ethos for the major populations of the world, where personal discipline is central to the holistic concept, and where illegal / undesirable behaviour is met with the withdrawal of social support. A return to the age, where those most active in the support of society were the most wealthy of us and not the reverse.
Initially, I was quite concerned as to the prospect of having need facing yet another pointless war in the middle-east. Secretly wishing that an entire population would be spared the horror of being bomb, relentlessly, in their beds at night. Then I realized, in the grand schema of things – whatever happens next year, these events will not impede the populous slow and creeping march to freedom. In-fact, any war would expedite it!
