Today I'm battling a nasty cold that I picked up from my almost 2 year old or on the plane.
But there are 3 bits of good news that I'm excited about.
- President Trump recognises Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. We won it in a defensive war and have held it for more than twice as long as Syria ever did (1946-1967 vs 1967 -2019) and it was never historically part of Syria anyway. Its ours now, for keeps! A good warning to Lebanon to restrain Hizbollah from attacking us or we may take some of their nice coastline in the next defensive war!
- The SPLC implodes in sexual harassment and corruption scandals. A organisation that today exists only to slander Conservatives and Christians is receiving its comeuppance. That Facebook used it as an arbiter of content until recently is appalling.
- The Mueller Investigation is finished and discredited as are the traitors that promoted a baseless and false narrative of Russian collusion to try to unseat the elected President. In doing so they brought the world closer to a devastating and unnecessary nuclear conflict than it has been in decades. The Russian Empire is at its smallest in 1000 years. Its feeling threatened and paranoid (often justifiably). It was dangerous and foolish to poke the bear over domestic political squabbles.
Let's hope for more good news this week.
