The district administration has undertaken a massive program aiming to earn good income online by providing freelancing and outsourcing training to 5,000 youths in Comilla. In the first phase of the highly timely initiative, an international seminar on "IT Freelancing and Outsourcing Opportunities in Bangladesh" will be held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Sunday, August 26.
The United States' renowned IT expert Sheikh Galib Rahman will present the keynote paper in this seminar that will be held in collaboration with the overall management of the district administration and in collaboration with the Paris-based World Bangladesh Organization (WBO). The seminar will be chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Comilla. Abul Fazal Mir In addition to the renowned media and IT personalities of Dhaka, the invited guests will join this very important seminar.
In the IT sector, new generation 'icon' Sheikh Galib Rahman is working as a software engineering director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Washington, DC. Earlier, this meritorious Bangladeshi was working in the US Presidential Office and the US Department of Homeland Security. Sheik Galib Rahman, a skilled IT trainer with experience working as a software engineer in many US institutes, including IBM and Microsoft. He has established the IT training institute in New York named Transphote.
The World Organization of Bangladesh (WBO), the headquarters of the organization, has been informed from Paris that, in order to make meritorious expatriate Sonar children in different sectors, including Information Technology (IT), they can utilize their qualifications and experience in the welfare of the people of Bangladesh. Deputy Commissioner Abul Fazil Mir expressed hope that the 'pioneer' new generation of the world class best training in the freelancing and outsourcing will soon be able to set an example for the entire Bangladesh.
