I've been introduced to this exciting platform by my fellow musician friend @steevc and was told that I should introduce myself in turn.
So, here we go, albeit a little late, perhaps. 😃

Origins
I am originally from Hamburg and moved to the UK just before the turn of the millennium, influenced by my Liverpudlian teacher, Mrs. Maader-Evans, who took me through my English A-levels (Abitur).
Passions
I am a self-taught musician, singing and playing a variety of instruments, which I have the pleasure of performing at a variety of venues in our local area; one of the main one being the Arlesey Jammers, a group of music enthusiasts who meet at jam sessions and open mics.

You can listen to us at @radioliquorice, which is live broadcast on YouTube, usually on a Saturday. 
I am also a proud member of our band "Swing 42", together with @daniellemurray, @purplesinger, @steevc, to name the ones who are active here on Hive.
Hopefully, we'll have a profile for our band one day.
I have two little dogs (or babies? 😅), Holly and Mia, who I love to bits; they keep me busy and will surely feature here too.
I'm interested in lots of other things (some I might not even know of yet), and hoping to see what goes on elsewhere. I've had a glimpse, but will spend more time exploring and, of course, posting stuff soon.
