I was listening to my favorite Crypto related podcast, The Bad Crypto Podcast while heading to downtown Atlanta to my hosting facility to get a decommissioned hosting server. Joel Comm, one of the podcast host was discussing with Michael O’Neal, a returning guest, about where you can purchase Bitcoin with Fiat and his reference was (@ 11:30 into the podcast) a @JerryBanfield post about 8 Digital Currency Exchanges with USD to Bitcoin!. It was really kind of surreal. I mean I know Jerry does not know me from Adam but he is why I am on STEEMit.com today. I felt like they were talking about a close friend of mine.
I first found Jerry on youtube talking about DASH over a year ago. I found him to be very informative, knowledgeable and genuinely excited about what he was doing, no matter what it was!
So I continued to follow him and watch his videos. Eventually I made it over here to STEEMit. And now I am a STEEM Witness that is getting ready to deploy a Backup Witness Node and My SEED Server. If all goes well they will both be up and running by Saturday evening. That's a total of 3 dedicated servers I will have built out to support STEEM and the STEEMit.com front end. So yes I believe in STEEM. This puts my investment upwards of $15,000 if you include my STEEM I have powered up. Plus the cost of hosting them, Yes it is my rack space and my /20 network but I still have to pay for it.
Anyway here is the podcast and like I mentioned before they bring up @JerryBanfield around 11:30 into the podcast. But I recommend listening to the whole cast. I would really recommend you subscribe to all the podcast. This one is missing Travis Wright the co-founder so you really should scroll back in time and pick some of the others to listen too. Travis is currently attending a DAVOS forum for Crypto Gods and should be back next week.
I plan on doing a post tomorrow as a witness-update about my backup witness and seed servers so check back on my page if you are interested in my progress.
