A little bit of change in my routine
I knew when I started that job that I wouldn't carry plasterboards forever. We used to work Monday to Saturday 6:30am to 5pm, so the scaffolders worked nights to prepare the scaffold for the plasterers the following day but at one point they didn't manage to finish what they were supposed to, so my colleagues and I needed to get it done.
It’s not too difficult to move the scaffold, there is just certain steps to keep in specify order, then nothing shouldn't go wrong. Watch your step when you're working in heights and don't throw pieces of scaffold down if you don't know wether there’s someone underneath you. I worked with two guys together, one of them Aussie and the other one islander from the Solomons. Man they worked well! Both were playing rugby league, you could clearly recognise that based on their attitude, never complaining, hardworking and fast! It was a nice task for us, we had a lot of fun and climbed around like monkeys, the little change cheered up everyones mood.
