It's not easy, but it is kind-of Fun
Just an update on the learning and progress from my post 3 days ago. I don't know if any of you have that annoying scroll bar at the bottom of your wallet pages in steemit, I do and I find it annoying. When I was working on building my page below I had that issue also, but this is my page and I knew there was a way to fix it. All I had to do was look and look and not stop looking until I found the solution for my bottom scroll bar. I did not have that issue with the first start of my page. So here it is:
On my last post I had not yet learned how to get links over on the right hand side of the menu bar like steemit has. It took some doing but I did figure it out. So now I have my wallet links where I have grown accustomed to having them. Right now I only have the three wallets so I went with the three drop downs. I may need to just put my two names over there if I end up joining another community or a couple more. I have no plans to get new account names for all the communities it is hard enough keeping track of two accounts.
The columns all now have colored backgrounds that go all the way to the footer, (yep I have a footer, no clue why yet, but I am sure I will find a use for it). I have not examined or delved to deep into the new communities yet, so I am not sure if you can have different sets of followers or of those you want to follow, so I have all my feeds listed on the left. There are a few other people that I will likely use feeds from and then a few tag specific links.
The Right Hand Column I will be trying to keep updated with my most important links, like steem engine. There are other links I have that I keep losing in the bookmark mess, and I hope to keep this list pretty clean.
I am enjoying finding and learning all the options for fonts, colors, and different things you can do when you are able to use full blown HTML and CSS. CSS is still pretty complicated to me, and the order of precedence is a bit confusing . The upcoming week I hope to work a little more on my color scheme and font choices.I want to keep it somewhat plain and simple, I still don't know what I will be using my center column for yet, but for now it works as a progress hold.
