It might be there but cannot touch.
It might be feel but cannot hear.
It might be seen but cannot taste.
Karma might just right there if you believe in your mind and soul, do you?
Actually, I am planning to write an entry post today but I have not thought that this will be my topic. It is just that I experienced some usual not good acts of people here in Gensan most likely the problems with the transportation.
You will actually know that you are in Gensan if this will going to happen. A conversation between a tricycle driver and a commuter where the commuter is from National Highway exactly at Apopong Galleria to J. Catolico Street and the fare should be 15pesos only as the usual rate.
Driver: Where?
Commuter: J. Catolico Street, near Libcap ( in the middle part of whole street). How much is the fare from here?
Driver: Its a bit far so 30 pesos but you can give me 25 pesos.
(Note: The commuter is just know in the place. So, the driver take the chance intentionally to charge the commuter at the high rate.)
Commuter: Just go in the ride without even opposing because commuter did not know the right rate.
I am not writing this to give my place a not good rating but it just happen that the transport problem here is still not solve. The Tuna Capital of the Philippines - General Santos City (Gensan) has still its best but not with the transportation part and government officials cannot control what is happening within the place because first and foremost, the tricycle that the commuter asking is an illegal one, no franchise permit in short KOLOROM.
But still its the end of the story, why? I am in the tricycle too. Yes! I am one of the commuter. But I am not the one in the convo. I tried telling the driver on the right rate but its he really force the amount he want. Since he force that amount we can't do anything but to get its plate number and think of negative happen as we ride along but not having accident during the right but just having a thought that he can get flat tire but maybe on the place where I need to stop. Maybe KARMA really exist because it really did but unluckily it still far from the place I want to go. Yes! The tricycle got flat tire. And actually happen on the time I am thinking that one. Is it KARMA or not? Do you believe in KARMA? By the way, KARMA in Buddhist tradition, refers to action driven by intention leads to future consequences (cause and effect situation).
Might be true, right? I first heard about karma since I was young and until now, I do believe in it. Maybe because I, myself I used to see the cause and effect of every action people are doing or I experience that.
Whatever it is, karma or not, why not do good as always? However, situation you are in, you must not step down on people who are weak enough to fight for their selves. If you are poor enough, you step down to people as if you do have everything you need. If you keep on doing it, you will never see the bright side of life. I swear! Remember, KARMA has no menu. You get served what you truly deserved. So better watch out, baby!
Hope you get something on this.
