Its length is 3-4 cm, presented a color that varies between yellowish-brownish-green, but above all it is distinguished by a darker green band.
It is common to see it in tomato plants, although it does not dislike corn, pepper, or leguminous plants. It has a predilection for the areas of the plant where a greater amount of nitrogen is concentrated, attacking mainly the fruit. In the case of tomatoes, they look for younger tomatoes, where they penetrate and consume their interior, leaving characteristic holes and tunnels that accelerate tomato rot
