Harbors in the morning are "my thing." Usually its quiet and the water is calm, perfect for creating memorable reflections. In working harbors, there can be a variety of activities underway before first light. But recreational harbors are usually quite sleepy in the new day.
I like to walk around and look at all the craft, imagining all the stories they could tell! I got this shot at Brookings, OR last fall on my coastal road trip that included stops in just about every harbor for dawn or dusk or both from Bellingham to San Diego!
I've thought many times that it would be a fun and rewarding experience to create a harbor images coffee table book. What do you think?
