For general maps there is also OpenStreetMap, https://openstreetmap.org, which is becoming an increasingly good map for the Kuching area, especially as people contribute their local knowledge by editing the map.
Consequently the Android and IOS app OsmAnd, https://osmand.net/, map and navigation app has become increasingly good for Kuching. It is available from the usual Google Play and Apple App Store but also from F-Droid, https://f-droid.org/packages/net.osmand.plus/ (F-Droid is an installable catalogue of free and Open Source software applications for the Android platform). OsmAnd has an option for cycle navigation.
