So it took about three days for the lactic acid bacteria to be done. Out of the three jars only one did not have any black and blue Mold on it. Unfortunately I did not realize one of the roommates had potatoes that had gone bad in the pantry for this ferment. This was our cause of this mold. One jar had just some green letchin(?) On it a type of fungus. Which is still benifical to our garden. I just wouldnt consume the two jars the mold that appeared on top as a probiotic and use just on the garden. Just to be safe this entire batch i will reserve for only garden use and pond...yes adding this lactic acid "serum" keeps our pond clean too! This also has benefical yeasts too! Straining was a bit of a mess as usual although my best personal batches the "serum" strains really easily. I will now just use this on our garden and make another batch in hopes of making a better product safer for human consumption.
