Fakir Lalon Shah's shrine is located in Kumarakhali upazila of Kushtia district. He used to teach his disciples the principles and spiritual teachings of Laulan Shah in the Dhuria of Kumarakhali Upazila. He used to host a festival in the arena every winter. Where thousands of disciples would gather and there would be music and discussion.
After the death of Lalon Shah, he was buried at this place. After his death, a mating field or arena was built on the site of his tomb. The tomb is surrounded by rows of his disciples. The disciple of Fakir Lalon Shah and the fiery Baulkul of the country and abroad gathered in this arena to celebrate the festival.

In addition to seeing the lantern arena, you can visit some of the sightseeing nearby. Notable among them; Rabindranath's kuthi house, Mir Musharraf Hossain's homestead, Rainwick's dam on the banks of the river Gorai, Tagore Lodge. You can rent a rickshaw or Easybike to visit.

There are quite a few residential hotels of rough quality in Kushtia city. You can choose any hotel you like. Some good quality rooms include Hotel River View, Hotel Noor International. Apart from this, there are several medium quality hotels on Majampur and NS Road.

There are several good quality hotel restaurants to eat. You can dine at the Hotel Shafi at the Court Station area. You can also eat in Jahangir Hotel, Artist Hotel, Eating Hotel. And Kushtia's famous sesame seeds and kulfi malai must be eaten.
