The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla are high columns of basaltic rock that line a ravine through which the water runs.

They are the result of the slow cooling of lava flows thousands of years ago. In this way, 5 or 6-sided basalt columns (polygonal shape) were formed, some vertical and others horizontal.
