The Awami League has become completely separated. The party's secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that there is no place to go to their people.

They are sure that the Commission has formed a single-sided election to ensure that the opposition will be in the fray if they go to the polls. So that they can come to power again. But it will never be acceptable to the public. We have already said it.
Referring to the present Election Commission as spinal, Mirza Fakhrul said, "We have said before that the present Election Commission is working to fulfill the wishes of the government." Fair selection is not possible with them.
