Haiii everyone…i hope you are having a good and healthy food everyday. Trying to cook something today hemmm remaind me of my mother “Garang Asem” it is a delicious dish..🤤🤤. Let’s start to make it!!!
• a chicken cut according to taste
• 20 pcs small red chili
• 5 pcs green tomato cut into 8 pcs
• 7 pcs vegetable starfruit cut into 4/5 each
• 2 pcs green onion cut 1 cm in size
• 2 table spoon salt
• 2 table spoon sugar
• 500 ml coconut milk
• 5 pcs bay leaves
• 5 pcs kaffir lime leaves
• 2 pcs lemongrass
• 5 cm ginger cut thin size
• 3 cm galangal cut thin size
• 7 pcs shallot
• 7 pcs garlic
• 3 pcs candlenut • 1 tablespoon coriander • MSG / mushroom stock cube

Yeee this is the fun steps to do…
- Wash the chicken and drain it, put into a sauce pan or bowl mix mashed ingredients add salt and sugar sgueeze chicken slowly with the mashed ingredient.
- Add small red chili, vegetable starfruit, green tomato, green onion, ginger, galangal, lemongrass, bay leaves, kaffir lime leaves, and 200ml of coconut milk stirr all. Let it stand 30 minutes.
- Put in the stove the pan that contains all material. Add 300 ml of coconut milk, 500 ml water. Boiled for 30-45 minutes with simmer gently until tender.
- Taste it..original taste spicy from the chili, and sour from tomato and vegetable starfruit’s make special taste… Delicious side dish if we eat with rice, because it is a kind of traditional dish from central java. But delicious too without the rice 🤤🤤😍😍
