A couple of days ago, after the @splinterlands Kickstarter project ended, I was browing around the site and came across the Piqabrick project.
Now things instantly caught my attention as one of the most frustrating things about running a Bricklink store can be sorting inventory - particularly if I've acquired a bulk lot of good condition used parts. It can be quite time consuming, and when you have a soon-to-be-four year old running around, time is not always available in significant sized blocks.
This takes away the guesswork of trying to see tiny part numbers printed on bricks in varying light conditions. I read through the project, looked at how it worked, checked out the demo videos from the beta testers, and fell in love with this thing.
I've backed the Kickstarter project and can't wait for it to be fully funded (it's only got about week left to raise around 10K) and get my device shipped. Backers also get a limited edition personalised brick to show your support.
