Blockchain’s real world impact grows as hype recedes
It’s said in economics that “things take longer to happen
than you think they will, and then they happen faster than
you think they could.”1 Much the same may happen with
the blockchain – the digital ledger technology that not only
underlies cryptocurrencies but also has the potential for
enabling innovation across a range of sectors.
McKinsey, Fortune Business and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) see great potential in the near future (>50% CAGR, compound annual growth rate):
Tokenization is expected to grow rapidly. By 2030, the
combined value of tokenized illiquid assets could be
around $16 trillion, roughly 10% of global GDP, according
to Boston Consulting Group (BCG). But this is BCG’s conser-
vative scenario; its best case foresees assets of $68 trillion.4

I am trying to take part in this potential by my investment in the Wikifolio BlkChn. Since Feb. 2023 it increased 39% and there is potential for more.
