Ahem, Ahem @rschaper I am looking at you
We want you here and we invited you because we want to hear from you
You of course are welcome to come in and read our posts and make comments, but you are welcome to post as well, and we actually WANT to hear from you.
Sometimes it is hard to get the confidence to write, and sometimes you don't know what to write about.
Start with what you know
You can introduce yourself
You can tell us all about how you found our community
You can tell us your first impressions
You can share with us how long you have been investing in crypto
You can tell us your first crypto purchase
You know a lot of stuff, really,
You know about where you live and what the economy is like there.
You know how much it the cost of living really is where you live
Has covid changed your finances? How
You can also tell us about the future
Do you have some financial plans that you are setting in motion.
Do you know what the best crypto to HODL is (LEO, we know, but tell us about it anyway)
You can tell us something embarrassing
For example, have you been scammed? Tell us a story about a scam. We all like to tell our wins, but sometimes, it is fun to hear about a silly something we got caught up in.
Have you learned something new since getting here?
Did you discover discord? Have you learned that @gerber never sleeps and answers all questions on every discord server.
Did you finally understand what an upvote is.
Do you know what RC's are?
Do you know why you should HODL at least 15 HIVEPOWER (maybe 50 instead)
Do you know the difference between HIVE, HIVEPOWER, HBD and LEO?
Tell us about it!
If you had those questions, someone else did too.
There are lots of newbies right behind you who now think you are an expert. Flaunt your expertise.
Remember that posts here don't really live more than 7 days
There was recently a rumor about how the LEO team is going to find a way to reward "evergreen" posts. But, from what I understand, we just are not there yet.
This means that in seven days, there will be more new people here, and you will notice via the comments that they are not comfortable posting. At that point, you can write your own encouraging post, asking them to share.
You will have different suggestions than me of course, because you want to hear other finance related things than I do.
I for example care how much moms around the world spend on diapers.
Will everyone on leofinance be interested? No. And everyone will not always be interested in your words. What is important is to put them out there anyway so that those that do want to read them, can.
Advice from the PRO
Use your own words. AKA don't plagiarize, that's just rude.
Be OK with using your own writing voice and style. There is only one you.
Type your posts on a different doc and copy and past. Yes. This is the SECOND time I write this post, because the interface glitched, and I didn't have a back up.
Keep going. Just like I am writing this, again, you can write your own post too.
Remember that a first grader can be a mentor to a kinder-gardener. You don't have to know everything to be valuable.
Don't be afraid to research. You don't have to write only what you know. You could learn something new and share it.
Read through the posts daily. Sometimes, there is a glaring need for content, and only one person to write it - YOU!
We really do want to hear from you! Post.
And feel free to share your post in the comment section.
PS. My system is glitchy. Here is a screenshot saying I reblogged this post, but I can't see it anywhere!
