The UMAzing Threadoor University Of Engagement is now open! We are looking for threadoors that can share knowledge about UMA tools and products, crypto savvy people with a good reputation in the social media space.

If you like threading, tweeting, x-ting or however you want to call it... this is a top opportunity to share your crypto knowledge. The University Of Engagement holds monthly modules, and the those with “high grades” can end up with “distinctions”! Are you ready to rumble?

UMA offers Universal Market Access, promoting the crypto decentralization and implementing blockchain technology in the Cryptoverse. All types of DeFi protocols and DAOs can use the UMA tools to implement financial solutions and improve the way was assets can enhance the products.

The Optimistic Oracle has become the star product, bringing real-life data into the blockchain. The Optimistic Oracle differs from Chainlink and other traditional oracles because it has the ability to find the truth for ANY outcome, easily solving "gray area" disputes when there is no categorical right or wrong case.

The Optimistic Oracle helped prediction markets because it can determine any truth. The OO will verify any smart contract data, offering versatility to power markets predicting absolutely everything ... from the next US President, the SuperBowl winner, Oscar awards to and any other outcome.

General Rules and Points System

The participants must sign up for the UMfluencer role to see the social channels. Read the rules and use the dedicated channel to share the content. The link for the tweet/thread can be emoji voted by the community until the end of the month, leading to a leaderboard-based point system.

Points will be awarded to the top 10 tweets/threads shared on Discord, based on emoji vote. The top voted tweet will receive 3 points, the next 4 according to votes will be awarded 2 points, and the rest will receive one point.

The point system evaluates content while resisting attacks and attempts to game the system. We are an optimistic community, and we see the best in people! However, any attempt that goes against the fair-play of the campaign will lead to disqualification.

The participant must share a screenshot with the level of engagement obtained by the tweet before the month ends. This will be used towards evaluation and grading, with points being awarded for certain levels of engagement.

The top 10 tweets/threads with the highest number of impressions will receive one point. To check the impression click “analytics” on the tweet! No screenshot = No points!

The team will check only the tweets/threads shared on the dedicated channel and award one point to the three quality tweets with the highest number of retweets and likes.
Three more tweets/threads that meaningfully aligns with UMA’s key messages and marketing priorities will be awarded one point. They will require a considerable amount of likes

Meme Lords and Degens? We got it covered! We also know that a good meme is worth a thousand words, and we will also award one point to quality memes that meaningfully aligns with UMA vision. This means no 20 seconds meme-generator stuff or random AI generated stuff!

Each user can write, share, post more than one thread/tweet each month, but only the best ranked entry will be awarded with one of the prizes.

One tweet/thread can be considered for point allocation for all the above categories

It’s common sense that one Discord user has only one X/Twitter account
No bots, no offensive, discriminatory or explicit content! Good vibes only!
Constructive feedback is always welcome, while FUD is a big no-no
Up your game and enhance your tweets through research

Management

The leaderboard will be administered by an UMbAssador, who will:

Evaluate submissions and suggesting winners to the core team
Analyze the emoji votes and select the top ten tweets/threads
Administer and deliver the monthly leaderboard, based on the points system
Sending updates and announcements in the designated channel for:
- Countdowns to the monthly deadline
- Reminders to submit tweets and screenshots
- Announcing the winners
Interacting with the community members who submit content and making them feel included
Fostering a sense of community on Twitter and building a mutually supportive culture

The UMA marketing team will work with the UMbAssador in charge of the program to ensure that the marketing priorities of the team are communicated to the participants.

We want to make sure that the campaign is both efficient and targets the right audience. This is why we kick-off on the 21st of September with a short campaign. If you’ve been around for a while you will know that being early is always rewarding.

We will have 10 winners… for September only! The top 10 ranked thredooors will receive UMA! From October we will implement the full month campaigns!

We want to be fair for everyone, and tiers for UMfluencer may be applied in the future so folks can perform against their own league!
