Quick wLEO SPEW Pool update
Some of you will be aware that wLEO has been "hacked" and someone has been able to print off tens of thousands of fake wLEO. They have converted these fake wLEO tokens on Uniswap for ETH and basically, run away with an estimated 270 ETH worth around $100,000.
From what I can see, the LEO team have put a plugin the problem and they are looking into it. I might point that this all happened when Khal was sleeping which might indicate the hacker knew Khals routine are least what time zone he lives in. Maybe it was a coincidence, I guess we sleep 25-34% of our lives. So, that's all that has been updated so far, no other updates so it's being worked on now.
The SPEW wLEO pool that @jk6276 runs from @spinvest removed all it's liquidity from the pool as soon as it was possible and im not going to lie, we've lost a lot of money. In total we removed from the liquidity pool was 49,800 wLEO which has been unwrapped and is sitting in the HE wallet and 5.88 ETH. SPinvest has personally lost around 4.5 ETH from this but it is what it is and it looks like plans to invest into gold can wait a while as we will need to top up to 10 ETH again.
For now, all we can do is wait and watch to see what happens. JK has our funds pulled which was the right move even with the big lose. I am sure the JK will have updates coming from @spinvest-leo over the next few days as updates are released and more information is gathered.
For now, I'd like to say sorry to everyone that put their trust into SPinvest and invested in our SPEW pool. We will hold the LEO in the HE wallet and hope for a price rebound and maybe be able to buy back some ETH but we need to wait and see what happens.
