2020 Vision posts:
To encourage active involvement in understanding where we are as a nation; reflecting history of our foundation and the subsequent degradation from the established Democratic Republic to the lethal elitist' s "democracy" we have become. I intend to explore ways of potentially steering this once great ship back to our truly inspired beginnings; a return to the constitution as it was intended. Not much hope, but still some hope...but the next three years are critical.(The somewhat lighter)
Submarines and her sailors:
To swap sea stories...lives then and since...particularly from WW2 through the 70's.
I served for several years on the USS Stonewall Jackson SSBN 634 (now razor blades and nails); I had the pleasure of TAD's on the Hardhead and the Dogfish as well (a dream come true from early childhood watching Victory at Sea, Run silent run deep, and John Wayne, etc)
I served from 67-72 active to 74 active reserves
