ZeroHedge reports that the Washington Post Names Drudge, Zero Hedge, & Ron Paul As Anti-Clinton "Sophisticated Russian Propaganda Tools." Clearly, ZH isn't happy, but perusing the list of alleged miscreants is shocking because it extends well beyond what any reasonable person could consider "the right" and seems to target libertarian and peace activist sites!
Who in their right mind would label antiwar.com a Russian propaganda tool? The two teams of "independent" researchers might have been confused because antiwar.com doesn't much like war, but Clinton does. That could potentially explain their opposition to the Hillary.
In addition to antiwar.com, the list also oddly includes David Stockman's blog (the former director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Ronald Reagan), Drudge Report, endingthefed.com, lewrockwell.com (Lew being the founder of the Mises Institute), and the Ron Paul Institute.
How libertarian sites ended up on a list of "anti-Hillary Russian propaganda tools" is nuts. Well, OK, I get the whole "anti-Hillary" thing, but the link between peaceful advocates of freedom and Russian "fake news propaganda" is a stretch.
Liberals would be better off courting libertarians, with whom they actually share quite a bit in common, instead attacking them every chance they get. Bullies beating on peaceful people gets old fast.
