There was another bumblebee in the library again today. I successfully evicted it to the outdoors where it belongs. This is becoming a strange pattern, but if 2021 is The Year of the Bee, it's still definitely an improvement over 2020.
There were hectic moments, and the manager had to leave for a meeting for most of the day, but Miss A. and I managed on our own. There was also a problem as I started preparing for a future craft program making floating teacups using artificial flowers cascading down a structure built from bent silverware. The cheap forks from the Dollar Tree just snapped when I tried to bend them.
So after the 2020 COVID lockdowns, this project is again on an indefinite hiatus until I find silverware that works. meanwhile, does anyone have any craft suggestions for the remaining un-bendable craptastic forks?
We also had incidents with obnoxious kids. There was a mother with three boys. One was a toddler who couldn't stay still, and the other two were slightly older kids who wanted to play games on the computers, but kept scampering between their respective desks. The "quiet in the library" concept completely escaped them, and either mom didn't care, or long ago gave up.
Miss A. was developing a migraine, and I'm not feeling so great myself after many nights of insomnia. We'll see what I can manage tomorrow. Boss has another meeting...
