The US state Department welcomes the decision of the social network Facebook to block accounts that are suspicious activity in the run-up to the midterm elections in the US. "We welcome Facebook's actions against malicious actions (on the social network)," the report said. It also notes that the US demands that " Russia and other countries immediately cease their reckless behavior, provoking division (among us citizens) and violence."
"We will not tolerate attempts by foreign States, including Russia, to undermine our democratic processes and institutions," concluded Neuert.
