hi there - i first heard of this concept back in 1995 when I read the book by Daniel Goleman and it was a revelation. However, his concept from memory focusses on the physical memories that our bodies carry after the fact. It was a life-changer but so was the book by Robin Norwood - Women who love too much! that book made me cry for three days afterwards :)
