Steemians, heres a quick view on a group of people that Society has damned from the beginning
So a few years a go, I was on a date, like a long few years a go.. as we were driving to the place we decided to eat dinner at prior to seeing he movie .. ( I hate to admit this ahhh! Twilight Part 2? ) the young lady with me noticed a few prostitutes, and she made a really ignorant remark something close to, "yuck, she is like an animal," I stopped the car and looked over at her. She laughed, I didn't I then, sighed a bit and said to her I wanted to explain to her why they are called bitches. Street prostitutes come from families, they have people that love them, shit I have a lot of respect for them, as a child I would walk by the liquor store featured in this post and they would be there even at 8 am trying to hustle, I recall one day I was getting jumped by 7 kids/young men you know how it goes white boy gets beat up by all the black kids in an all black neighborhood... same story no one ever came to my aid normally, until the day i walked by that store.. it was 2 prostitutes one pulled a small razor blade out of her mouth ( no shit, her mouth) and the other just grabbed them up with what i called (super human strength, these two out of all the people driving by, walking by, and watching helped me.. being a kid getting an ass beaten for your skin color can be painful, I was thankful, while people laugh and crack jokes.. I will always keep Love for those two Sharonda, and Evon a few weeks later I believe it was right after I turned 7 years old I had by then developed a relationship with these two ladies and several others they would come check on me, gave me lunch money because I had no one around my mother was gone constantly she'd usually just stop in briefly see I was a live and go away again ( I ate a lot of chicken noodle soup, Campbells to be exact) these ladies are hustles, survivors, working in one of the worlds OLDEST professions, I don't exactly agree with it because people can get raped, stds, among other things but I respect the women as a whole and I never held a bad view on them.. infact this is the only time I've ever looked at them as a type of group and thats strictly to get this point/story across. The worst thing I ever said was they were bitches and that was at the funeral of Ms. Evon. I called her a bitch because she died wayyy to soon, she caught H.I.V and thats what made her die so I was upset you see I loved her like a sister but she died to quick. If I wanted to make this post long I would let you all know just how much they really did do throwing me a birthday party? My first real one, teaching me what to expected from a real woman.. how to treat a female with absolute respect never judging anyone, keeping myself real with myself in order to be real when facing a situation, they prevented me from skipping school telling em that i'd end up like them or worse and so many other lessons from 6 or so on to even now when I swing by just to drop off some food to a few of them. So if your reading this, and you have a bad view please reconsider or be open minded because I can assure you that somewhere out there another young man white, black, brown yellow hell purple boy may be getting his ass kicked and some one maybe another prostitute came to his aid and also played a serious roll in turning him in to a man.. teaching him and being someone offering knowledge and experience.
To all of you that have read this, I hope if I only reach even one person that I at least made you change your view even if its just for 2 minutes, I promise you I will never post or tell any of you a lie or false story, to conclude that date I mentioned, well Sarah got out of the car and walked over and introduced herself and apologized.
