Yo Members of the Jessie Round Table!
Notice how I said members and not Knights because Knights are well masculine and we don't want to trigger the feminists do we? Well, Knights could also be seen as a slur for darker skinned people, in fact, every word is a potential trigger in today's society.
You can't sneeze, laugh, shit or smile and someone would be offended by your actions and would stop at nothing to get a public lynching. Perhaps it's ingrained in us to want to see swift justice in some was as a feeble attempt to bring balance and order since the world is just such an unjust place and you "cannot catch a break"
A little less conversation, a little more action.
Those that see the world as unfair, or waiting for something, or complaining I refer to as "cannot catch a break" people. They've spent their time walking around being pissed off, attracting people who are pissed off, create content on why they are pissed off and shout the loudest, but surprisingly never actually action anything.
Because actioning something and finding out you're not good enough or your point of view is flawed would make it too real for your precious ego to handle. So live in this perpetual purgatory of ideals and probabilities because it's safe.
Provide no solutions, take no steps! Anger and offence are as far as it goes for these people. You know what? You have every right to be that way, attract those who share your opinion, shape your echo chamber, create the self-fulfilling the prophecy of nothing getting done.
Opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got one and it just pushes out a lot of shit no one wants to deal with.
If you were serious about something, passionate about a goal, you'd do your best to shut the fuck up and not waste energy on talking but creating and doing, networking and finding ways to get things done. That's kind of how winning works? You put in the effort you fail, you put in the effort you learn, you put in the effort you grow, you put in the effort and eventually you grow and learn enough from your failures that you win.
Next time you want to deliver a scathing opinion to someone or online in a comments section. Think about someone you admire, let's say Elon Musk or Lionel Messi, someone on top of their profession. Do you honestly think they have the time or energy and even if they did, they would spend it complaining about something in their industry? Or would they go out and do their talking with action?
Have your say
Do you get triggered? What do you get triggered about? Why does it trigger you? Have you got a great trigger story? Pull the trigger in the comments, my trigger!
Holla at me in the comments! All my commenters I will now refer to as Jessie. Jessie is a good friend of mine, but Jessies got a girl, and I want to make her mine.
So have at it my Jessies! If you don't have something to comment, comment "I am a Jessie."
