Hello ! We are back in the work. As we did not received yet the material (pictures) to modelize the #steemfest event space, we continued working on our hostel.
As it was not clear for all of us, Jean explained some of the goals for which we are modelizing this building and others. One of the goal is to provide the various non formal education activities such as training and workshops participants which are coming in huge number in such place a digital version of the space integrating a #blockchain based (#steem) ERP tool dedicated to these learning activities.
In other words, we are making a solution that integrates all the current communication channels and futurs as well as provide to the various participants, trainers, learners and back office members of co creative or learning activities a preview of the most important information, documents and history of participants within a 360 degree immersive environment. Here even a step ahead of traditional 360 degrees mapped into a sphere or a cube as we are building a real interactive 3d scene, with depth, lightening, shadows and at some point photorealistic textures and video game like kind of interactivity.
Basically we are producing a “users, citizen, learners and customers digital center of the future” which has the aim to manage and improve participation with the help of another tool we are producing the “iAme”, the artificial intelligence or bot, kind of “siri” of Global School which will allow to reply to a maximum of requests while simplifying the back office work and enriching user experience. Hopefully all of this will be accessible via the @com-lab platform which Daniel started to code last week on the basis of the work of Jean (@jnmarteau) and using #steem-js.
After explaining this, he gave us the mission to make the hotel’s garden in 3D. We needed to take a lot of pictures and made a lot of measurements.
Laszlo got the garden’s basis and the walls. He didn’t had that much reference points so he can’t make it perfect yet. He made a realistic brick wall . It has a lot of objects . So when he assembled all of them he had over 13 000 objects and his laptop couldn’t run very well. The other group is making the hotel’s back side wall , and it is not ready yet . So that’s why he didn’t finished it. After that he decided to help someone who had problem and others with their tasks.
Levi got the benches in the garden. It is a hard work because it has a lot of curves in it. But he managed to do it because he is skillful. He spent a lot of time with that , because first time when he saved , he didn’t saved it all. So he needed to do it again .
Kevin in the beginning made a lamp and a control modul near the crossing level. That was easy to do, so after that he decided to make trees from the garden. Thanks to former groups, the program contains a basic pinetree ,but he didn’t liked it so he made another one. He finished it and sent it to Jean.
Máté got a task , Jean said to him that he need to take off the texture kitchen because the former group did more than asked and already added textures which were making the scene to heavy to load for a fluid further development. Furthermore, some part of the kitchen were missing so he needed to add the missing objects. He also started to build the lift and he made and assembled the stairs. He made an exit sign too. In the end of the day he finished the kitchen, made a toilet and connected it to the kitchen .
