It was my Thanksgiving viewing for today, in fact it was finished at the time of this writing and I wasn't expecting the church worker to arrive because he hadn't texted my Mother beforehand like he usually does. But anyway my body was substantially pain-free already before he arrived because I took some pain reliever as I was scheduled to use the bathroom/toilet today.
So I successfully finished the thanksgiving viewing without any much discomfort while my mother wasn't able to finish it because she has to attend the Senior Citizen's meeting which was set here in our village by the Municipal government for such matters thta I do not know of.
Anyway "Thanksgiving viewing" is for anyone who could not attend the live activity because of some reason like work and in my case my disability with pain issues so a few years ago I just requested my local mcgi church to give me a church worker which would be assigned to me to bring a record of Prayer Meeting, Worship Service, and Thanksgiving activity celebration so that I could at least hear the words of God and get updated in teachings and what is happening in the church.
Thanksgiving activity celebration consists of the singing of the an opening dance or chorale music number, the actual offerings of songs of praise and thanksgiving by the scheduled individuals and groups, the singing of the hymns, the opening prayer, the offerings of thanksgiving money/donation and it takes a bit of time for it to finish because the church just takes cash in envelopes given voluntarily by members especially the ones that are offering thanksgiving for the week.
Then after that another song of praise number followed by a recap on last week's topic of the week followed by the first half discussion of the topic of the week by Bro. Daniel Razon, the vice minister of the Church Of God International. It is then followed by the consultation portion where some guests, and members alike can get a chance to ask questions from Bro. Eli Soriano , the Presiding Minister of MCGI.ORG regarding all topics from their life problems, legal, domestic/family matters, medical, or regarding their faith or something that they can't understand in the bible.
After than the continuation and conclusion of the topic of the week will get discussed and after that is the closing prayers. The brethren now can go home after that and it is just a whole day affair and as of right now the proceedings in live activity is done at night PH time to make some chance in the other side of the world where Bro Eli resides to enjoy attending the thanksgiving in daylight until the schedule is changed back again after some time.
It is good that I am still able to hear the words of God through this program of my church to send a church worker for me so that I could hear the bible topics as well as witnessing what happened from the weekly Thanksgiving celebration which is very crucial for me because it makes my inner-self to be stronger as it gives me hope and mental strength which I needed most because of my current life's health problems.
