I just received a nice gift from Hivebuzz through this post initiative where you can greet your Hive friend to receive a Hivebuzz Christmas Challenge 2023 NFT.
The NFT was already distributed to 850+ unique accounts and I believe it will still increase as more and more people are joining the challenge. I think this is the kind of challenge that can "partially" tell the activity of users of this platform. This makes me feel motivated because I can tell that this platform has real "active" users and not just "bots" or "lifeless" users. It's a great way to showcase the personality of people who are very good and generous to each other.
I think that Hive's social platforms allow people to bring out the best in them. It allows people to embrace individuality. Over here, being unique is good. Especially for your content, being unique makes it more encouraging to read and follow. We don't have to follow a specific trend unlike social media platforms like Tiktok which creates a trend that users feel obligatory to follow otherwise they won't get the attention that they want. That's one of the reasons why I prefer hanging out here in Hive, there's a sense of community but it won't force you to follow a specific trend on the content that you posts.
Just look at the list of Communities that you can subscribe to. I believe, almost every type of community or topic is available for you to subscribe to and make a post in. Of course, some Communities are more active than others. But you still have the choice of the type of community that you want to participate in. You can even participate in a few that you are interested in.
