Hollywood was all gaga over the film "Call Me By Your Name". Latest gay flick to hit it big.
After the Brokeback Mountain movie was critically acclaimed a few years ago.
Summary of this film from IMDB.com: "In 1980s Italy, a romance blossoms between a seventeen year-old student and the older man hired as his father's research assistant."
Let's recap current set of facts:
1) Hollywood is all in your face with #metoo movement. Which I believe is supposed to be a movement against sexual harassment.
2) Hollywood is all in your face over how wonderful this latest gay movie is. Despite the age difference between the two. One man is much older and the younger amour is under the age of eighteen and the older man is in a position of power/authority. 17 is NOT the age of consent in many jurisdictions. Sure sounds like sexual harassment to me.
One of the seminal scenes in the movie involves masturbation into a peach, after one of the gay guys gets excited because it looks like an ass. See how I did that with the seminal double entendre. LOL
In summary, using Hollywood logic: sexual harassment is bad, except if it is between gays and one of them is under the age of eighteen which is under the age of consent in many jurisdictions, in which case it is to be celebrated.
For example, sexual harassment by Harvey Weinstein is bad, except if it is of women that turn into blonde movie stars that can pull down $20 million per picture despite not having a middle school education, in which case the sexual harassment by Harvey and the actress are to be celebrated?
Say WTF?
And Hollywood is probably wondering why viewership of the Oscars was down 20%?
Lot of dumb asses in Hollywood.
And a declining number of the dumb masses (Liberals) are tuning in to watch the hypocritical crap coming out of Hollyweird.
They have earned the name Hollyweird by their actions.
Steem ON!!
