I got their ad in the mail that says they have chicken quarters, thighs and drum sticks for $.79 a pound. That is a good deal and in the advertisement it says that their is a limit of 4.
So I go there today and there is a sign on the door saying that you can only buy 2 packages of chicken. Also I just called my mom that I was going there to buy some chicken. I told her that there is a limit of 4 on the ad.
So the plan was to buy 2 packages for me and 2 packages for my mom. Now I can just buy one package for me and one package for my mom. Oh well, we live in different times now.
When I get in there is only the drum sticks. A woman came near and said, They only have drum sticks. I guess she didn't like drum sticks. I told her I was at another store yesterday and they didn't have chicken at all. She didn't buy any chicken.
The store had other signs like because of the Coronavirus you can only buy one package of toilet paper. Well that is good as this way you can't hoard it.
They also had a rule for hand sanitizer of buying only one.
Well, at least there was no lines and I did get to get some chicken.
Mom told me later on that she is running out of toilet paper, so maybe I'll try to get back to Smart and Final Store and get a package of toilet paper for her.
I don't know if things are going to change back to normal very soon, but we will just have to do the best we can with what we got.
