There is this saying that, "what goes up comes down" and I sometimes wonder if, it has anything to do with successful individuals.
Growing up in a closed knit society as a kid, I saw many "rich" people who went up so high that they were the envy of the people only to fall so low that they became a point of sad story telling.
Some of them were ritualist, fraudsters, regular folks, well known thieves, politicians etc.
True story:-
There was a particular one who was a Customs officer and because he could get for himself seized properties, he became a demi-god. He would molest his family members, helpless elders and virtually anyone else he sees as being less than himself.
Last I heard of him, he is retired with nothing to show, has nothing of his own, his children deserted him and he now works as the leader of the local council enforcers in the same village he reigned supreme.
Casting my mind back makes me kinda of scared if those who rise in their chosen field will fall at one time in the future.
No!
That saying is mostly for that proud boastful arrogant individul who thinks because he is up there, everyone else is scum.
"What goes up must come down". The man who takes his time to build an empire will do well not to leave destructive pieces behind that will pull him down. But the arrogant and boastful man, will in his vain pursuit leave so much of these pieces that will be waiting right down there for him for when he comes crashing down. Oouch!
Live your live knowing that, everyone around you have a role to play in your doing and your undoing.
Do not allow the little things you think you have that someone else doesn't have make you miss the important lessons in life.
The story of a man is not complete without the mention of his kindred.
Yes, the good, the bad, and the uglies of life has their value in helping form a man that may have truly lived life.
So what you are hurt, is that not supposed to be a common ingredient in life? Jesus Christ was hurt too and He never stopped loving you.
I wish that you fly high and never have to experience the bitterness of a forced fall.
Remember, what goes up must surely come down if, it is not designed to stay up there.
