That lovely feeling ... because age ...

That lovely feeling you get when it is weekend and you’re finally allowed to drink a nice cold beer after a week of abstinence.

That was last weekend though. Tonight, I’m drinking hot tea. To drown out the hunger. And scald the throat to lessen the desire.

I wish I was under 30 again, where I could eat and drink to my hearts desire and and STILL lose weight.

Oh well. I’ll just hope for the George Clooney effect, where aging makes me more attractive 🤷🏼‍♂️
