Took this snap from my bathroom window. The angle of the photo doesn't to it justice as to how low this "army plane" was flying, but it was pretty huge, I can tell you. Well, in fact it was a surveillance aircraft circling around the whole of London in view of President Trump visiting out city. Just before this, there was a 5 helicopter entourage flying in unison, that I just missed on.
And I guess this is probably due to the protest marches of the people in this country. They have shown their displeasure quite forcefully and therefore these counter measures have been put in place, in the event of some unexpected attack being organised. My opinion in all this? Well, politics is a game I try to steer clear of, but I would say that the uproar in retaliation to the Trump visit, is inconsequential in what is trying to be achieved. In other words, Trump will do as he pleases regardless.
Like him or loathe him, behaving in an aggressive manner makes us look no better. again, just my humble opinion. But yeah, seeing these American army aviation units doing the rounds overhead, is certainly not something we Brits are used to seeing.
