Gaza City: Thousands of Palestinians initiated a protest to get 'the right to return' for Palestinian refugees and their descendants to the territory that is currently recognized as belonging to Israel. The protest ended in clashes with Israeli security forces. Palestinian sources in Gaza said 16 protesters were shot dead by Israeli security forces, while hundreds were injured.
