So this will probably be my last post of this year. What a crazy year it has been and I bet not just for me but for most of the people all around the world. It sure has been challenging, but it also has been good to me.
I mean, even though what is going on in the whole world and, there are so many things to be grateful for and really the "good things always override the bad things".
As for me, one thing that I am so grateful that I had another year with my family and that we are all healthy and safe and together. And this is just one of the so many things I am grateful for.
We have all gone through challenges, and probably more for the last two years, but the reason we are still here is that we still have a purpose on this earth, so let's give all we have and enjoy every second of it.
This year has closed some doors, but it also has opened new doors. Going through all of these challenges, which none of us want to go through, only gives us strength and knowledge and that is exactly what I have gained.
Now looking back to the beginning of the year and now, the last day of the year, all the challenges I went through seem so small, when I think of what I have gained and learned from it. And for that, I am so grateful.
I have learned how to appreciate the little things in life. I have learned to slow down and go with the flow. I have learned to stand up for my life. I have learned how to take better care of our health and overall wellbeing. I have learned, awakened in a spiritual way more than ever. I have learned what is important in my life and what is not.
This year, more than ever made me realize how important and powerful it is to share and spread love.
This year has shown me clearly that I can't rely on our governments, on our food industry, on our health industry, and media which also includes social media. I mean, I knew this for quite some time, but this year made it really clear for me, which I am so grateful for because now I am ready to step it up and take care of my own life because if I don't, no one else will.
I have realized how important humanity is. I didn't just realize that, but more than ever, seeing what is going on especially with all this technology like Metaverse and all this crazy AI (Artificial Intelligence) it really seems crazy and scary since it seems like humanity does not exist anymore. Everyone is in love with their phones and all this technology. We can't even have a nice conversation in person. No one even has the time to have a conversation. The thing is, people are made to be loved and things/technology are to be used, but in today's world, people love the things/technology and people are being used. People are more attached to the phone/technology than a family member or just a human being.
This year has made me realize how important and powerful it is to live in the moment and not the past or the future. Today is the day. Not yesterday or tomorrow. Live in the NOW moment.
This year was "The Awakening Year" for me, which like I said, overrides all the negatives and challenges.
I am grateful that I got to learn a little bit more about the crypto world and that I finally got back to Hive and working on it on a regular, daily basis, since I was not able to do that first half of the year, no matter how hard I tried and how much I missed it.
I am grateful for all the people I have met and the new places I have seen.
Looking back and wrapping up the year 2021, all I can say is THANK YOU, you have been good to me but it's time to say Good-Bye.
Wishing you all a wonderful, healthy, joyful, happy, and prosperous New Year 2022.
Love @joalvarez
God Bless!
