When there is a wall in your way SHINE!!!
Still a bit sick but felt like writing again! So here i am again XD.
Well this piece is helping you to shine more often naturally instead of forcing yourself to shine.
Some jobs require us to smile 24/7 and it can work really really depressing… (forced smiling is no fun and can give you the feeling that if you are not doing that you are getting judged)
Or if you are not smiling enough in some cases even your boss will turn sour on you without reason, just because you are not happy for a small moment.
These are just a few reasons why shining is so important.
Also what is shining by the way and what does it mean in this context?
Shining
One of my favorite quotes in Boku No Hero Academia, “It is the times that you feel afraid or worried that you should deal with smiling!”
All Might
We all have a lot of issues and problems and sometimes they seem to go so far that we feel weak and powerless, it makes us feel miserable and we reflect it as well in our behaviour.
Shining means that we smile from what is beneath all of it, what is beyond the evening and the night so to say.
Shining is the smile that even between the tears you know that all will be alright and you keep on smiling from the deepest side of your core being.
We have core values, which we have spoken about before and living through us brings great pleasure and reward no matter how the reality of our lives is/are.
Shining means to keep on smiling in no matter in how much pain you are and how far you are apart from what you want to do, it is a form of complete trust to where you are going and knowing that all will be fine.
Shining is the true reflection of who you are as a person, showing that being vulnerable, human at the same time godlike and perfect.
Everyone shines differently, but this is the part that it is what makes people so beautiful and what they should learn to appreciate themselves with.
Being who they are beneath all the negativity, hurt and distortions.
Some people only see carbon, but with the right pressure, the right temperature even the ugliest piece of carbon can turn DIAMOND!
How to get it done
We have already talked before in another piece about your core values and exploring them, which is an very important basic part.
For this case though i will give a clear example of how to find your core values in short again, so that you have a good reminder.
Your intuition is needed in this, trust it.
http://www.marcishepard.org/2015/02/ check this site for the core values (there are many more, follow your intuition)Next use your intuition to feel which words really strongly connect to you, go up to 8 of them which resonates strongly.
After you got your 8 words, ask yourself questions around these things and check which ones you connect the most.
choose the ones with the 3 highest results
(the reason for 3 is that you can be 1 and that all defines that thing or it can be 2, it all depends what works for you. For me 3 worked best, because it gave by being abstract still a clear description about me)
In this case 3 is both abstract enough for space of interpretation, yet not to complicated and simple and easier to understand for yourself as well. (or in short both fluent, yet fitting in a box)
Congrats you have found what everything for you turns around in life, everything falls into place and falls back when you feel bad etc, these 3 words are in a way defining you!
(normally this is done between coach and client)
Take your time learning and adapting yourself to these values, you will also notice that there are things in your way mostly towards pain and trauma, you start noticing a split in yourself that you did not saw before.
The loudest part that starts crying out more and more is saying those 3 words, those things that are YOU!
You start to notice that the moment you follow those words to what you feel is right, you start to SHINE or feeling happier, you smile more often even if your life is still the same.
You are starting to break through and living towards pleasure instead of running from pain.
Take your time though with this, because a lot of work needs to be done!
But to get it fully done and the simple secret that it is,
Know Yourself and go for what you truly want to accomplish in life!
You are worth it.
