I've had a fair share of going back to square one. And you may be too! or at least, know someone who does!
I'm here today to talk about How I Got My Life Back in 7 Steps!
As you may have probably seen on my #introduceyourself post here, I have shared my story on how I have shifted from having a Nursing Background into becoming a Digital Marketer.
I will elaborate that on my next post but first here's what I can share today.
7 Ways to Start Again in Life
Accepting Change
Most of the time Starting Again in Life implies tolerating that you're never the same person you used to be. You're never pulled in by similar things or people again. Your goals have changed. It's alright. Try not to point the finger at yourself for it and stop resisting. Begin again. As hard as it might appear at first. You'll be shocked how quick everything will fall into their rightful place.Learn when to Quit
Stop the unproductive activity, the harsh relationship, the past. Grasp the obscure. Make the initial step. Each journey begins with a single step. Don't be scared to take a leap of faith. All things considered, you won't let anyone down when you venture out of a damaging relationship. In any case, not quitting will let someone very important down YOU!Meet New People
Most of the time we reject opportunities unconsciously and it became our habit. We tend to shut other people out assuming that every person has an ulterior motive. Break that habit! Converse and let it flow! This helped me expand my connections and even earned some really good friends and opportunities!Accept Your Defeat
I know it was painful. You were hurt. You may have lost someone or something. Hopes were down and most especially your heart. Just accept it. End your suffering and move on! Yes, it will be hard but never dwell on it. At the end of the day, you will start anew so why delay it? Remember, that which does not kill us makes us stronger - Friedrich NietzscheTalk to Someone
Just anyone willing to listen so that you can get it out of your chest. Put all your experiences into words and spit it out! Tell your story to someone else. You'll definitely feel better and may also get a solution, new idea or a just the courage to start again! Let someone else push the button and trigger the change within.Take Risks
Try something new like skydiving or bungee jumping if you like it physical or talk to a large audience in public (you got the idea?) The more challenging it is the faster it is to get out of your comfort zone. This will help you break away with your past self by reaching your limits.Attend a Seminar or a Workshop
Go to Live Events! As long as it involves a lot of people. Be somewhere bigger than yourself. Be in the moment! Go with the flow. The flow of positive energy in these events will help you become a better person and easily embrace any decision you have to make in the future like Starting Again.
