Interestingly, island hopping can be an activity there as the river was attached to Hinatuan bay. The tour package was for 100 pesos each.
Our first stop was the Sibadan Fish Cage where we had the opportunity to feed ‘em friendly stingrays. Elden and I took a dip and did not only spend time with stingrays, we swam with baby sharks as well!
The next stop was the Island Rock Resort - which had a hotel erected on an islet.
We then decided to go back to the Enchanted River. Our boat ride, however, stopped as we ran out of gas. The motorboat operators tried paddling away but to no avail. We got a bit scared because of heavy currents. We got stuck for almost an hour! Good thing we saw a boat traversing nearby, so I blew loud whistle to catch their attention! And so we got rescued!
In the afternoon, around 4PM, we decided to pack up and prepare for our next destination.
Our trip that day made me realize that no matter how long, exhausting or complicated your journey is, there is still, as they say, light at the end of the tunnel.
