Hi there Steemit friends!
I missed you for three long days. We didn't have internet connection since Friday because of some unforseen incidence. It has just got back this afternoon.
Because I can't work without the internet connection, I decided to make use of my time to visit my friends, and did a bit of bonding moments.
It's Opon's Feast Day
Tomorrow, November 21 marks the feast day of Our Lady Of The Rule, in Opon, Lapu Lapu City Philippines.
I thought maybe there was a reason why our internet was gone. It was like I was enlightened to go to Opon, and light some candles for the feast day.
As much as possible, I try my best to observe a Catholic tradition, especially during feast days. That is-- to light some candles at the church.
At The Perya
During fiestas, most Filipinos would also love to go to the "peryas" or carnivals. On my short visit to Lapu-Lapu, I grabbed the chance to go the perya with my friends. They enjoyed the different rides, while I was also glad observing them.
These are my friends @nikylour, @ele.laurent and Mila. Before we proceeded to the perya, we shared quite a long chitchat of what has come about with pur lives as we have went on with our own lives, after we have resigned from our previous company.
Miss Lapu Lapu 2017
As part of the fiesta celebration, the city also held a pageant for the most beautiful girls in the city, who will represent Lapu Lapu City.
The coronation happens tonight, which is the eve of the feast day. Here are the candidates:
