I have started on emptying the spare room, we put everything in there whilst we were decorating my bedroom and getting new carpets laid. There is so much to do, I can only do so much each day as there's a lot of lifting and bending. I can see me throwing a few things out or donating to charity. I have to be ruthless abs only keep what I need.
I'm shocked at how much stuff we have kept. I have bought a few boxes to store the stuff I intend on keeping. These will be stored in top of my wardrobe, the colour of the boxes match the colour of our bedroom wall.
I have been doing little bits at a time, taking a bucket load of things from the little room into my bedroom where I decide whether keep, bin or charity.
I have been known to me up Christmas presents, funding stuff I've bought missing Christmas. I did it again, I bought Nichola the set of Supernatural books, there was 17, I checked and rechecked I had bought all the books. Nichola was sorting her room out stacking her Supernatural books onto her shelf when she saw there was a book missing No10 Rite of Passage I knew I had bought it but we couldn't find it until I was moving things in the spare room. I find the book hiding under a box, have no idea how it got there, very strange indeed.
I have had to order another set of box's as the 3 I bought aren't going to be enough, luckly I should be able to fit all the boxes where I want them. I may need some nice labels to place on the boxes to remember what I have put inside.
I have made quite a dent in the spare room, we can get inside now but still have a few boxes to sort out plus a few boxes that need to go on Ebay, I have an old Pyrex cup and saucer set plus a few blue abs while meat platter and dish, these were from when hubbys gran died, I will check on Ebay to see if they are selling on there. Hopefully I can mane some money to hand to his mum, it would definitely cheer her up.
All done for today, I'll hopefully get through more tomorrow. Its going to take a few days as there are a few heavy items that hubby will have to help me with. The room should be done this weekend then I'll be able to get some new window prices. My house is desperate for new bedroom windows, the seals are broken so letting in water between the double glazing, hubby noticed the water abs said we could have son move coloured fish swimming in the window with the amount of water, thin he was trying to be funny.
That's me done for the day, time to take my 3 pups and myself to bed then settle down hourly ready to sleep as k in finding it hard to keep my eyes open. Youth is definitely wasted on the young. I would love to have the energy I had when I was 18.
