In my last post I wrote about having to have blood tests as the Doctor thought I had Diabetes. I get tested at least once a year but always got the all clear the same with blood pressure and cholesterol. Even though I am carrying to much weight something I have fought with for years. I'm disabled so find it hard to do more exercise. My last tests all came back with low blood pressure, high cholesterol and diagnosed with Diabetes.

I started writing this post on Friday evening then got busy with something else, I can't seem to focus on one task at a time, maybe this is part of getting old. I'm just thinking how boring my life is going to get now I have to stop eating sugar, I don't duck or smoke so what other vice can I take up just to make my life more fun. ANYWAYS
I'm off to the Doctors in the morning for a woman's health check, I'm hoping they give me some advice on Diabetes. I feel like I'm in limbo not knowing what to do.
Thankfully my appointment this morning was very informative, I am just on the diabetes line so hopefully I can put my Diabetes into remission, The nurse told me they don't like to say reverse Diabetes as it can come back. I was given a leaflet about the 12 month diet, the first 12 weeks are soups, shakes and bars then change one for a meal taking the 12 months to retrain you how to eat healthy. I have also been referred to the Diabetes Clinic plus to another clinic where I get a thorough health check plus get my eyes and feet looked after for free.
After the appointment Nichola my daughter and carer took me out for my breakfast, whilst we were there I received a text message from the nurse I had just seen saying she was sorry that she had forgot to talk to me about my raised cholesterol, so I am now going back in Thursday morning to have tests for the dizziness, when I stand after sitting down I have to stop and put my head down to stop the dizziness then on Friday morning the nurse is phoning me about the raised cholesterol. I think the next few weeks are going to be filled with appointments.
I am enjoying driving my new car, I can get out of the house to enjoy some freedom plus some fresh air. I live very close to a beautiful coastline, I can drive and park on the cliff tops to watch the sea. I have to have my carer with me, we both enjoy the little trips out.
Thank you for watching. 💟💟
