I am a big BIG animal lover, well apart from the creepy crawlies, wasps, etc these i tolerate. Dogs are my favourite, i used to quite like cuddling a cat until i started gardening. I have a tray filled with compost ready for me to plant my seeds, i went out to give it a turning over when i found a few little presents. The Cat had obviously thought the nice women that lived here had put a large cat littler tray out just in case a pool little cat got caught short. To put it mildly the lady was not very happy about what she found I was furious. I am sure they do it to wind up my 3 dogs, well we will see about that.
I have searched the internet for cat deterrents:
I could leave my dogs out all night No I could never do that.
I could fill the tray with citric smells Cats are not supposed to like them
I could put up a few cat ornaments with shiny eyes. These are supposed to frighten cats off.
I could put poison now. This is not a choice i would never think about.
I could put something spiky in the soil This frightens them off without hurting them.
I have tried most of those above, the Orange Peel doesn't bother them, I have Ornaments with shiny eyes in my garden this doesn't bother them either so i am hoping the spike will give them the shock they need. I have ordered the Defender from Amazon, it should arrive tomorrow then i can put it into the tray and hopefully deter the cats from using it as there toilet.
I thought with having 3 noisy dogs living here the cats would stay away, if this deterrent works i will buy a few more for my front garden as they can use that too.
This has a lot of customer feedback, a few have said it has worked so its definitely worth a try as i don't want my garden ruined due to cat poop. Hopefully this will arrive tomorrow, i am fed up of having to go through the compost looking for lumps...
Other News
I haven't done much today, still tired from changing my routine. I have sorted my problem with Bittrex, i needed to open a new account as my email has changed, it took a few days and quite a few photographs for ID. I have my new account, my old one is now closed. Everything is now working correctly.
Its Friday which means its my bingo night, time to sit back and hope i win, its been a while since i shouted house. Fingers crossed.
