HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE
I'm still coughing, not having much sleep so haven't been feeling the best. I've gone through a bottle of cough medicine plus doubled up on my inhalers but still its hanging on to me. It came from nowhere then refuses to leave. I've had to prop myself up at night in bed to a sitting position, when I lay down I start coughing so bad I can't breath. At the start of the week I was coughing so much I felt I was going to pass out. I haven't left the house for nearly a fortnight so looking forward to hopefully getting out soon.
I'm also having a few problems with my pup Luna, she's changed drastically. She isn't settling in bed anymore, she looks scared and keeps going downstairs. She will lay in bed with me when I first go to bed then within 10 minutes she will jump up as if she's had a scare then go downstairs, this is happening through the night but instead of going downstairs she will climb on the pillows that are propping me up to lay above my head, she doesn't go to sleep just keeps tapping my head to get some attention, she's never done anything like this before. She's following me around like a shadow but also doing the same to my hubby and daughter when they are downstairs. She does have separation anxiety, a couple of weeks ago we had to leave her in the house for a little while whilst we took our other pup Mika to the Vets, so we are thinking maybe it's stemmed from there. Looks like we may need to take her for a check up next.
Here she is stuck to my daughter and hubbys side when they are playing cards, this is when she sleeps better.
Shes been very sneaky to, one minute she is following me then sneaks off, I had the biggest scare today my Heart nearly jumped out of my chest. We don't let our bird Sprout out when Luna is about, Luna usually tries and grabs her so we have to be very careful.
I was upstairs getting Sprout sorted for downstairs, I was in the bathroom washing out her water and seed dishes for her downstairs cage. I noticed Luna go into my bedroom, so I finished off the bowls then went to my daughters room, I closed the door thinking Luna was still in my room, I put the bowls back into the cage then opened her cage to let her out, she flew straight on to the bed right next to where Luna had decided to lie,I nearly died I was so scared Luna would make a grab for her but she didn't she did try to sniff her, luckly I got a hold of Sprout to put her back in the cage when she bit me, I jumped she flew back on the bed next to Luna. I'm so proud of Luna for not going for her, She usually always does, I really thought this was the end of Sprout. I managed to get her back in the cage safely, the only one to suffer was me with a sore finger and my heart doing leaps in my chest. Next time check the room is clear before opening the cage.
I've spent the last 2 hours sitting with Sprout in the bedroom, she's unfazed by it all as is Luna, I do think Sprout may have won the fight, she's a little bird but really fast and her bean is lethal.
