I am now onto the 4th week of using the Second Nature app the NHS sent me due to me being diagnosed with Diabetes 2. I have lost 6.2lbs. I'm losing weight a lot slower than I usually do so hopefully it will stay off. Usually when I diet I go all in losing quite a lot, last time I lost 3 stone in 12 weeks, sadly putting most of it back on so this time I'm doing it slowly making this a way of life and sticking to the new rules.
1 Drink 8 glasses of water
2 Check all ingredients, making
sure sugar is either low on the
list or not included.
3 Make 3 daily gratidues.
4 Eat 1 or 2 servings of fruit.
I'm adding new things to my list weekly. This us what second nature try to do to change the way you think about your diet and what you put in your mouth.

I haven't tried any of there recipes yet, I am trying to make my own meals that are very low in Carbs plus low in sugar. I've cut out eating as many treats, they are now used as treats when I get good results. I used to have 3 biscuits with a coffee, I've reduced this to one or nothing buying biscuits that I don't like, if I haven't got treats in then I can't eat them.
I have my 1st Diabetic check in December, its where I get my eyes and feet checked plus another blood test. In hoping I can lose enough weight that my new test says Diabetes in remission. They don't say its reversed any more as if you put the weight back on the Diabetes will come back. I don't want this as have enough health problems to worry about.
ANYWAYS
Forget the diet for a moment and onto other things I've been upto I spent yesterday with my Granddaughter, we had a brilliant time, she's now 15 months and starting to learn how to walk. She's very quick at picking things up. Her dad bought her a children's tablet that has loads of apps for children. She sits for ages watching and pressing where she is supposed to. She plays games on there with no problems. She's also learning to talk, its lovely when she shouts mama, I'm trying to get her to shout nana.
I'm looking forward to Christmas as we are having them for most of the day so in planning a few surprises, I want our hall and living room decorated like Santa's grotto for when little one arrives. I love seeing the excitement on little ones faces. I'm also trying to get our windows and doors replaced, looks like this isn't going to happen until the new year. I'm ordering a few decorations every week. I intend to add the decorations when they arrive so not doing too much at once.
Anyways I'm off to buy a few decorations now.
Take care 🙂
Thank you for visiting 💟💟
